Neonatal and Infant Circumcision

  • Consultation: History, physical examination, and discussion of risks, benefits, and procedural steps.
  • Facility: Private procedure room.
  • Pain Management: Layered management including sugar solution and local anesthetic injection pre-procedure.
  • Aftercare: Post-procedure wound check and detailed dressing instructions.
  • Support: Direct phone number for the circumcision provider.
  • Technology: Access to the patient portal for photograph upload (if required).
  • Follow-up: Appointment included if required.

Pre-Circumcision Consultation

$100

  • Assessment: History and physical examination
  • Facility: Private consultation room.
  • Education: Discussion of risks, benefits and procedural steps of circumcision
  • Eligibility: We provide this service to families of newborns and infants as well as pregnant patients who wish to speak with a circumcision provider before booking the procedure.

Circumcision After Consultation

Policy: If a Pre-Circumcision Consultation was performed within the last 12 months in anticipation of a circumcision for your now delivered newborn or infant, we credit the cost of the consultation towards the full procedure fee.

OHIP Coverage and Transparency

Elective, not medically necessary neonatal and infant circumcision is not covered by the Ontario Health Insurance Plan (OHIP). Fees are payable by patient family members or, in the case of prenatal consultation, the patient directly.

We believe in transparency regarding fees. There are no hidden costs.

Accepted Online and via Phone: Credit Card, E-transfer.

Accepted In-Person: Credit Card, E-transfer, Interac, Cash.

Note: We are, unfortunately, unable to give change in our office. Please bring the exact amount if paying by cash.

Refund Policy

We are happy to issue a refund under the following circumstances:

  • The appointment for one of our services is cancelled at least 48 hours prior to the booked time.
  • Our clinic physician has determined a medical reason for not proceeding with circumcision on the day of the appointment.
